Physician
Brother Andre Hospital is seeking to recruit a qualified dedicated and compassionate Medical Officer (Physician) to run our clinic once a week.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- Valid registration and license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- At least 3 years of post-internship clinical experience (experience in a Level 3 facility and above or mission hospital is an added advantage).
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.
- Commitment to patient-centred care and hospital values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to inpatients and outpatients.
- Conduct clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of patients.
- Support emergency care services and contribute to clinical decision-making.
- Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare staff to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Participate in medical audits, CME sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards aligned with the hospital’s mission.
